Let me introduce myself. I am Alina Kol. I have been working as a tutor for more than 10 years. My experience has allowed me to establish a modern tutoring centre called SunDía. I began to professionally deal with tutoring after receiving a higher education in economics and management, simultaneously receiving a second higher education, specializing in English-Spanish translations.
The decision to direct my forces in a completely different direction was made by chance when I was approached by a man with a request to teach him English for everyday use. This man I hadn’t known before was my first student.
At that moment I could not imagine that a single appeal to me as a tutor would become a point of radical change in the sphere of activity, because I worked then for a research company, conducting English-language surveys, contacting leaders of the international companies and organising conferences and forums, for example, in 2016 in Dubai for investors, company owners and other representatives of domestic business with businessmen of the United Arab Emirates, etc.
English has surrounded me and interested me since childhood, from school to work in international companies of different levels. However, the love for English, after a while was supplemented by another language interest – Spanish. I was interested in developing business relations not only with English-speaking partners, but also with Spanish speakers. Working for an international trading company, communicating with clients from Portugal and Spain, I gained a lot of experience in maintaining business correspondence and successfully signing contracts in Spanish.
